Some new kid clothes

Looking back at the last few months, I have not made as many things as I normally would. Part of it is that I’ve been working on a couple of sewing patterns. But mostly, it’s been over a year of pandemic with my kids home all the time (they currently only have two days in school in person each week) and I’m just really mentally sapped. We’re about to begin summer and I never plan on getting much work done during summer vacation. However, I have a new pattern coming out in June, and some others pretty far into development, so maybe I’ll surprise myself?

Some cool projects

So far this year my main focus has been my upcoming two sewing patterns, the Artemis Clutch and Artemis Shoulder Bag. This past month I also had two interesting custom orders. I have also spent several Saturdays working on cordless Roman Shades for my living room. I also managed a couple dresses for my daughter.

End of 2020 Wrap up

Well, I guess the only way I blog anymore is with huge photo dumps! I’m determined to post a little more frequently this year just to avoid that.

Color Book instructions

I’ve had a few questions about the color book construction, which makes sense as my video was split into two parts for the Sewing Summit.
